Here is a summary of my update.  

- Call Committee received 7 sets of personal information and self evaluation forms from our District President

- Call Committee has interviewed 2 pastors this past week

- Call Committee is interviewing 1 pastor this next week. (4/16)

- Call Committee is meeting to discuss next steps:  Ready to make a call and present pastor for a vote or interview more pastors

Call Update: March 20, 2024

Greetings BSLC Antioch,I received official confirmation that BSLC Antioch will not receive a pastoral graduate.  There were more congregations requesting a pastoral graduate than there were graduates to be called to a requesting congregation.  This is not to discourage us or question God's plan for us and our mission here in Antioch.  Our call committee process is moving forward and will continue our call process until God answers our prayers.It is the Lord who goes before...

Update February 18, 2024

Call Committee met on Monday, February 12th in which the members gathered for a devotional led by Wayne.  Our circuit pastor, Pastor Blonski was present for our meeting.  We continue to pray and wait for a response from our district president.  Please continue to pray!

Update: February 4, 2024

Dawn spoke with President Buss in which he does have our call documents to take with him to his seminary meeting this month.  Call committee information was provided as a bulletin insert that everyone can take home.  If anyone has any questions or you would like to pray with someone, please reach out.  We are all here to support each other.  We will not know anything until beginning of March at the earliest.  We continue to pray. Update: January 28, 2024

Call Committee announced that the recording secretary received confirmation that our call documents are in the hands of district president.  March 2024 is the earliest that we would hear if a seminary graduate will be placed at Beautiful Savior. Call Committee will be meeting Monday, February 12th.  Please continue to pray for the call process!
